Most importantly, the chimney must be functional, meaning it must have sufficient capacity to safely extract all flue gases from the heating appliance. To achieve optimal performance, <strong>it is important to choose a chimney with dimensions that are properly matched to the heating appliance you are using (stove, boiler, heater, or fireplace)<\/strong>). <strong>Chimney<\/strong> <strong>diameter<\/strong> should not be smaller than the diameter of the flue outlet on the heating appliance.
